“Strange stills” was a portion of the TECH III class in which we mixed mediums of photography and rendering in juxtaposition to create confusing images documenting a specific room (where we now spend most of our time in the context of COVID 19). The idea was to confuse what is real and what is fiction by making it hard to tell what is a rendering vs a photograph. Some mosaic-style collages were also used with a mix of renderings and photographs. Use of color and black and white was used to dramatize the images created.
